Community Outreach and Education

We believe prevention is just as critical as treatment. FORE conducts educational outreach in schools, churches, workplaces, and communities to raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma, and promote healthy behaviours. Through workshops, public talks, recovery walks, and printed resources, we empower communities to understand, support, and advocate for mental wellness.
Healing starts before the crisis does.
Mental health challenges don't begin in a clinic โ they begin in communities, families, schools, and workplaces. FORE Community takes mental health education directly to where people live, worship, work, and learn.
Our outreach work is designed not just to inform, but to transform attitudes. By meeting communities in their own spaces, we reduce barriers, build trust, and create environments where mental wellness is openly valued and supported.
We go to where the people are.

Awareness that changes communities.
Since 2015, FORE Community has reached thousands of Ugandans across schools, churches, workplaces, and grassroots communities. Our outreach work has contributed to measurable shifts in how mental health is discussed and perceived in the areas we serve.
We measure our success not just in numbers of events delivered, but in the cultural change we see โ in communities that once silenced mental health now speaking openly, seeking help early, and supporting one another with compassion.
Why It Matters: Ending the silence around mental health.
Open Conversations
We create safe spaces for communities to talk openly about mental health without fear of judgment or shame.
Empowered Communities
We equip ordinary people โ parents, teachers, pastors, neighbours โ to become mental health advocates in their own circles.
Pathways to Care
Our outreach connects communities to FORE's clinical services, making it easier for those in need to take that first step toward support
